NGK Iridium IX spark plugs are the most highly developed solution on the market.
They have a fine Iridium tip on the central electrode, laser welded during a special process.
Iridium is a precious metal and one of the most solid materials available.
It has a melting point of 2,450° C so is highly resistant to electrical erosion caused by the spark.
The service life of an Iridium spark plug is two and half times that of a standard spark plug.
The use of Iridium makes it possible to:
